Fitness AND Exercise hike
Great Hike + Great Exercise
Personal Training Session
Hiking is not only a great way to clear your mind and connect with nature—it’s also one of the best ways to get your regular EXERCISE. Hiking for exercise can be the cornerstone to making and keeping your body HEALTHY and STRONG while spending time in the Great Outdoors having fun! Gym routines can be boring and monotonous—no motivation or energy for treadmill or lifting under the artificial florescent lights. Why not take your fitness routine outside in NATURE where the beauty of the forests stimulates the mind and body, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors and have FUN while working out!
I also think of one of these sessions as a lesson on how to do it yourself moving forward. THE HABIT IS KEY!
And if you are interested in a set of sessions I offer a 4-pack for $120 ($85 per person for a duo).

Fitness and Exercise Hike
w/ Tie-Dyed Guide
Private session. 1.5 - 2 hours.
$45 for solo, $35 each for duo.
THE EXPERIENCE: This is a combination of a private guided hike and a personal training session. It has the tremendous benefits of a guided hike in the woods, where I’ll pick the perfect trail for you, alongside an exercise approach where we’ll focus on strength and cardio. The session will be 1.5 to 2 hours.
Hiking, especially climbing (to any degree), is great for STRENGTH TRAINING. The uneven movement and balancing involved in hiking builds the leg and core muscles so important to everyday life. Ascending the uneven terrain of the trail exercises the legscore in ways that walking or running just doesn’t do. We can add on a bit of Calisthenics (i.e. strength training with your own bodyweight). We’ll stop a few times to do a few sets of incline pushups on logs or rocks for a more complete upper body workout.
We’ll get the heart rate up! Hiking is a great CARDIO workout. We can do some uphill runs/trail running if you’d like. So great for building up that lung capacity!
I’m telling you, exercise is so much more fun and enjoyable outdoors on that trail than in a crowded gym with harsh indoor lights! I promise you will FEEL GREAT after a good workout on the trail!
